Like Father, Like Son

Is this uncanny, or what?! Lucas's grandparents were in town during the first week of November to help us celebrate Lucas's first birthday. Grammy had brought an album of D.'s baby pictures, and as we were flipping through the pages for the umpteenth time, I finally noticed that a certain picture of baby D. looked strangely familiar. I went back into some old saved picture files, and lo and behold! I decided that these two pictures give me enough proof for those moments when I want to blame Lucas's *special* personality traits on his father...

Hello, dear friends and family!

Welcome to our little family blog. Lucas is just over a year old, and the new year begins tomorrow... Since the picture-taking has become less frequent now that Lucas has new mobility skills and is more difficult to follow around with a camera, we've decided to post whatever pictures we take as they come, and perhaps a few stories that go with them. This means you're free to check back here as often as you'd like, so bookmark us now! It also means we'll no longer be sending invitations to view a photo gallery on the Kodak website (unless you request it), which we had originally created to make sure you don't miss out on any of the fun. Now the fun will come more often (hopefully) - and with a few of the details we weren't able to include before.

We love you and miss you all. And as Lucas likes to repeat over and over again, "A-gah."
